Why isn’t Transit + Surface improvements an option for why we voted like we did?
In the choices for why you live where you do, you leave out affordability. For many of us that is a key reason for our location
This is NOT just an issue for Seattle folks. If Seattle continues to fumble it, we in South King County will be unable to go north except at night, and folks in Snohomish County will likewise be unable to go south. I-5 necks down to two lanes underneath the Convention Center, and I-405 is a parking lot all day on weekdays. The old viaduct has some character, and is often fun to drive through. Seattle is in denial wonderland about its escalating gridlock and the Seattle metro area will be immobilized in another decade. What kind of quality of life will that be for all of us?
