Fuel opening another new location

First, Fuel cruised19th Ave, then it swung down the hill to Montlake. Next stop? Wallingford.

The neighborhood coffee joint is celebrating its birthday by opening a new store. This puts Fuel firmly on the road to official status as a local indie chain. The scoop on the new Fuel is buried at the end of this feature on Fuel from KOMO-TV, of all sources. New place is located at 1705 N 45th St. Grand opening is slated for April 7.

There’s a BIG sign about the new Fuel in the window of the original branch.

BTW will the Stranger now pillory Fuel for being a chain, as it did with Cafe Ladro, when its chain (of six) was going up against Victorola on 15th:

I just noticed this last night when I stopped at the Montlake location! It’s completely covered with (beautifully designed) posters and flyers about the Wallingford location.
