Out of town so can’t see if the article is in the offline version but we’re in the paper again. Seattle PI says: Seattle’s neighborhood blogs are quite good
In addition to sympathizing with the editor who struggled to come up with that headline, give it a quick read to see if there’s a Seattle Blog or two you haven’t heard of. You’ll also get the thrill of seeing j and k’s name in print. Very exciting, that.
It’s a trifle of an article but it is nice to be recognized — and nicer, still, for neighborhood blogging to be the focus for the piece. In the year 2000 or so, expect every neighborhood to have a blog or three and, eventually, every block. After that, every home, condo and apartment — basically, every person. In the meantime, you get us and a dozen or so other quite good sites. Enjoy!

It’s funny that PI reporters can link to “horsesass.org” but that I could not… GRRRRR.

Are there any bird or squirrel Seattle neighborhood blogs yet?
I can’t believe you didn’t tell us you have this blog. What, our lives are consumed with a new baby and we live in West Seattle? Well, we used to live on Capitol Hill! We remember the good times! Congrats, j and k on your P-I mention. Love, C, H, and N
There are lots of things we don’t tell West Seattle about.
Heh.
That aside … West Seattle Blogger Spouse noticed something interesting about the article. WSBS said, remember back when anything you read about Seattle blogs just focused on the tech-centric? Or the usual suspects (like Anita Rowland, whom we would never dis)? Not a word in this one. Maybe we are the “new blogging generation.” Even those of us with gray hairs.
