A weekend’s worth of links to prepare you for the week ahead:
- Memo to all trees, bushes and leaves on Capitol Hill. Turn red now.
- Smith started serving brunch this weekend adding another alternative to the line at Coastal Kitchen. Did you go?
- Coyote spotted.
- “Food and Community” tonight at CHAC discusses slow food, supermarkets, culture.
- Who is sick? J is sick. Runny nose. Purel yourself immediately.
- City council candidates forum at St. Mark’s on Thursday.
- 2Tue Capitol Hill art walk tomorrow night.
First time this year that I’ve been sick. Common cold, I assume, but the sneezing has been so forceful that I have now lost my voice. You should run a post with the best “sick food” places in the neighborhood.
Please add me to the list of people who are sick, thank you. Also, please post “Best Seattle Chicken Soup Recipes” because while we’re house bound and germed up, we need to eat soup.

Whoa whoa whoa… I hate to be the curmudgeon shaking fist healthy guy here, but the only place for “sick food” is in your festering apartment. Mixing with the general populous while your admittingly forceful sneezing are making petri dishes of bacterial time bombs out of the rest of us is just not acceptable.
I would suggest safeway’s online ordering. Gatorade, soup, and OJ.

I can send my husband to the store for supplies or take out. He never gets sick.
