Here’s a breakdown of service providers CHS readers used to connect to the Internet and consume this neighborhood blog in April. We’re a Comcast house, too, so, as usual, part of the trend.
The Other category is filled without about 50 other random ISPs from around the world — including a puny fraction of people still using AOL. 0.89%.

I can’t recommend Clearwire. It had a lot of potential but it’s just too slow. With all 5 lights lit up I was at under 200kbps. There’s a website that has posts on problems (clearwiresucks).
I really would like to figure out what the problem is but I’m getting too impatient and will switch to cable soon enough.
