Meat donuts — Smith reaches its logical conclusion

Packed to the rafters Sunday happy hour not withstanding, we’re a bit worried about Smith. New on its menu, ham and cheese donuts. The question: Where can Smith go from there? Everything now is epilogue.

so what exactly is this?

when i read the headline i was imagining meatloaf in the shape of a donut.

how does a ham and cheese donut actually work?

i guess i, too, will have to go check out this franken-donut.

Mmmmmmm….Donuts… The first place I’m going to when I get back to Seattle is Smith. But that was true even before they introduced ham and cheese donuts.

I’m assuming these are regular deep-fried donuts, with bits of ham and cheese mixed into the batter.

Sounds like a great idea, but until they do a version of Voo-Doo Donut’s bacon maple bar, they’ve still got a ways to go before be should consider bringing down the curtain, as it were.
