In today’s edition of Capitol Hill’s Most Wanted…
- Scott from Central District News reports that the people probably responsible for this burglary were caught in the act breaking into another home on Aloha Tuesday afternoon. Coincidentally, we saw three kids fitting the description walking in the area shortly before their 1:51p rendezvous with SPD. The trio was notable for the sharpness of their dress. Clean, crisp hoodies. Style criminals. Our favorite detail from Scott’s arrest report: The suspects were carrying a large amount of Canadian currency. Sharp dressers and savvy arbitrage speculators.
- We’re told several cop cars surrounded St. Joseph’s at 18th and Aloha on Sunday — neighbor says he was told St. Joe’s collection cash had suffered some kind of evil act. Yes, they’re even breaking into churches right now.
Just to add to the hub bub – a car was broken into on Thursday or Friday on Pike, just west of the intersection with 18th. I don’t know any details, just saw the broken glass on the ground. I hope this isn’t a trend.
