Round-up: Hill foodie help, penis tree, CHBP club?

The Internets are full of Capitol Hill pleas for food service professionals this morning — help us! Our foodies may starve without you!

  • Poppy is hiring cooks. The Derschang-Volunteer Park Cafe joint venture needs sous help (we wrote about the project here). ‘Zaw of the obnoxioius marketing needs helps, too. Hillside Quickie? Yup. Pastry chef at Boom Noodle. Servers at Vios. Line cooks at La Spiga. Rosebud, too. Either we’ve got too many restaurants on the Hill or everybody in the restaurant biz is taking August off. Or both.     Yikes! Their now hiring posting was almost painful to read. After the first few lines, I kept mentally putting exclamation marks after! each! word!.
