1:34PM – 15th Ave E and E Mercer St – Hit and Run – Two car accident and one driver fled the scene

Wednesday 3/18/09
CHS Report: 2:00AM – 1700 block Harvard Ave E – Bomb scare – A suspicious item shut down the blocks around Seattle Central while bomb squads investigated in the early hours of Wednesday morning. The item was later determined to be a vandalized utility box. CHS coverage.
CHS Report: 10:52PM – 1500 block E. Madison – Pornography/Obscene Material – Two officers on foot patrol provided the following report regarding pornographic images they witnessed on display through windows of a Capitol Hill bar on E. Madison. The Slog featured a post about similiar recent incidents that very day, some 12 hours earlier.
Thursday 3/19/09
CHS Report: 4:20AM – 400 block E. Denny – Burglary – Employee at Downtown Dog Lounge reported an early-morning attempted burglary after discovering a white male standing behind the counter and two additional suspects standing watch. Suspects ran away when discovered. No losses were reported. Appropriately, a K-9 unit responded but was unable to track down the suspects.
CHS Report: 3:11PM – 600 E. Pike – Burglary – An employee Phil Smart Mercedes-Benz reported finding an unknown man in her office. When confronted, the suspect ran out the front door and fled the area in a green sedan.
5:36PM – 815 E. Denny Way – Theft – Caller thinks a man is breaking into a construction site
Friday 3/20/09
2:49PM – 400 Broadway E – Shoplifting – Four people took merchandise and fled from Urban Outfitters
Saturday 3/21/09
CHS Report: 1:30AM – 400 block Harvard Ave E – Robbery – A 41-year-old man reported that he was robbed of his laptop by two men near the Capitol Hill library and then chased by a group of approximately 20 individuals after he returned to the scene of the incident to look for his stolen laptop. The victim suffered minor injuries and declined medical assistance despite his report that the group had chased him into his apartment building and hit him in the head.
Sunday 3/22/09
CHS Report: 3:20PM – 1100 block Pike – Theft – A 15-year-old girl reported her bike was stolen from the bike rack in front of Uncle Elizabeth’s Cafe. She said she forgot her bike lock and thought the bike would be safe in a public place.
If you know the girl that got her bike stolen, i’m willing to chip in some cash to get her a new one. That just sucks.
Apparently, they’re peeping at porn through windows.
