Two updates on recent CHS posts:
- Sound Transit says it needs to push back its planned public meeting to discuss construction noise and other updates on Capitol Hill’s light rail project because it lost its meeting space at Seattle Central due to a conflicting event. The meeting will now likely take place the week of June 15. Hmmm. Maybe ST will get behind idea to make portion of the Cap Hill station a community space just so it has a place to hold its own meetings.
- The Seattle Libraries board approved a new set of rules clarifications and restrictions detailed on CHS earlier this week.
- James Williams is expected to be sentenced in the next hours to spend the rest of his life in prison. Williams pleaded guilty to first degree murder last week in the 2007 New Year’s Eve knife attack that killed Shannon Harps.
