Police are looking for a man who sexually assaulted a 23-year-old woman inside her apartment building early Sunday morning before she was able to fight him off with screams and a punch to the head.

The woman told police she was returning from her friend’s nearby apartment around 2:30 AM when she was grabbed from behind, pushed inside her Bellevue Ave apartment building and shoved into a corner. She said the man pulled down her shirt and quickly assaulted her as she screamed and punched him in the head causing the man to flee.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his mid-20s with a short, stocky build. He was wearing a baseball cap of unknown color at the time of the attack.
