We first told you about the fabled Unicorn replacing E. Pike’s dearly departed Satellite Lounge back in October. With liquor license in Tweeting-hand, the new joint opens Friday. The Stranger has pictures from the inside.

“I originally wanted to be a fashion designer,” new co-owner Adam Heimstadt told CHS when we spoke to him about the new place this fall. “I ended up being a bartender instead. The past 20 years of creativity are going into this.”

Heimstadt described Unicorn’s look as “a French, circus theme” that will house a mishmash of “incredible things.”
