Team CapitolHillSeattle.com combined stellar defense with timely line drives — and a little technology — to earn the championship in the first annual Beard and Mustache Fest Wifflebowl with a 2-0 victory over Oddfellows. Or it might have been 1-0. But we won. One key play in the victory of the Oddfellows crew came down to instant replay when a close play at first was reviewed via Seattle Times photographer Cliff Despeaux’s viewfinder. Earlier in the day, Team CHS defeated Cherry Street Coffee 4-zip. We next go on to play the New Orleans Saints in the Who Can Be Lazier for the Rest of February Bowl. We’re a lock.

I love that we celebrated our victory over Oddfellows at Oddfellows. Blogs >>> hipsters!
What do AA people do? Just curious, all this is so bar focused.
Why not play real softball? Too much exercise? Exercise is good, and a good example …. maybe the anti fat league?
Everything doesn’t need to accomodate everyone.
I’ve just gotta say “thank you” to the wonderful Team CapitolHillSeattle.com defense that I had behind me. I couldn’t have pitched two back to back shutouts without your help. I’ve also gotta give a shout out to Seattle Times photographer Cliff Despeaux for the awesome instant reply at a crucial point in the game. Without it, the shutout would have ended.
What do people without legs do? We should cancel the wiffleball tournament because they can’t compete.
And people who can’t ride bikes? They should rise up and demand that The World is Fun cancel the bike scavenger hunt later this month.
And god forbid you’re a person who can’t grow a decent beard, like me. If you’d like to join me, I’ll be starting a letter writing campaign demanding that Beard and Mustache Fest be canceled entirely.
