The Seattle Police Department has released the name and photo of a man they believe fled to Capitol Hill after assaulting a police officer in north Seattle last Wednesday.
Seattle Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Steve C. Hyatt, 33, wanted in connection to the February 10th crash into a house and subsequent assault on a Seattle Police officer. There is a warrant for his arrest.
Detectives believe that Hyatt, described as a white male, 5′06″, 180 pounds, with green eyes and brown, short cropped hair is the suspect that crashed into a house after fleeing from police in North Seattle. If anyone sees Mr. Hyatt, they should call 911 immediately. Anyone with information regarding Hyatt should contact Detective Wear at (206) 684-8935.
SPD told CHS that they were searching for the man last week in many locations including Capitol Hill and Madrona. Reportedly, the man tried to flee to the home of Capitol Hill friends who called police.
