A woman told police that she was attacked late Monday night by a bike-riding man wearing a skeleton hoodie covering his face. The woman said the robber pushed her to the ground and stole her cell phone near Harvard Ave and E. Olive Way. According to East Precinct radio transmissions, the suspect in the 9:40 PM strong-arm was described as possibly a Hispanic or black male, slender and in his 20s, wearing a black skeleton hoodie that covered much of his face. The thief was riding a gold mountain bike, the woman told police. He was last seen riding north on Harvard Ave. The immediate search of the area did not turn up the suspect. Thanks to Central District News’ daily East Precinct scanner report for the initial tip on this.
it sounds like a guy who has hung out frequently the last few months by the garbage cans in front of crossroads. if i see him in the next couple days, i know who to call.
But probably not a white guy?
i guess if that is the impression someone gets from seeing a person’s hands and the area surrounding their eyes, then that is the impression they get.
and btw, the guy i think it is who has been hanging out on broadway with a skeleton hoodie that he sometimes has wrapped up into a skull around most of his face looks possibly hispanic.
