CHS has learned more about the sexual assault that led to Sunday’s police chase near the Capitol Hill library.
According to police documents, the 23-year-old man arrested is suspected of sexually assaulting two women he met at E. Pike’s Cha Cha Lounge on Friday night. According to police, the man returned home with two women after asking them if he could “couch surf.” Police say the women reported that the man attacked them inside the residence, threatened them with a knife and attempting to choke one of the women.
The women went to Harborview following the incident and contacted police who determined there was cause to track the man down and arrest him, according to the document.
On Sunday, the man ran from an officer attempting to arrest him at his Summit Ave apartment.
SeattleCrime reports that, in addition to his warrants for DUI and theft, police believe the man is a suspect in a previous sexual assault.
I’m glad the cop’s got this guy. The two girls in the story sound pretty dumb.
it’s ’99 all over again.
The girls were too trusting – not “dumb” and he is a criminal not a “bad Boy” get it straight.
