A pedestrian was struck and killed after being hit by a dump truck this morning near 7th and Cherry. Here are the preliminary details from SPD:
On November 17th, at approximately 9;10 AM, Seattle Police and Seattle Fire Department responded to a call of a vehicle/pedestrian collision in the intersection of 7th Avenue and Cherry Street.
The pedestrian, believed to be a female, was killed when she was struck by a dump truck. Detectives from the Traffic Collision Investigation Squad (TCIS) have responded to the scene and are conducting their investigation. This information is preliminary, and subject to change. When more information is available, we will update this post. TCIS detectives will handle the investigation.
