Man says BMX bandit stole wallet at knifepoint in Broadway parking lot

A man told police he was robbed of his wallet at knifepoint Tuesday morning in a hold-up perpetrated by a robber riding a grey BMX bicycle.

According to police radio reports, officers were on the lookout from Pike/Pine to downtown for a wearing black pants, a black hoodie, a military green jacket and riding a BMX bike. The suspect was described as a white male in his 30s, small and skinny — about 5’7″ and 130 pounds — with a scruffy face. He made off with the victim’s brown leather wallet containing $200 and cards, the victim told police.

The victim said the robbery happened around 10:40 AM Tuesday in the parking lot north of the Broadway Blockbuster.

Police searched the area and downtown but there were no immediate arrests.

Gee, what are the odds of finding someone that matches this description in CH?
