Vandals target Seattle Chase bank again — this time off Hill

At least it’s not personal. A little over a week after another attack on the Broadway Chase outlet again left windows shattered, Seattle police are investigating another bout of vandalism against a Seattle Chase bank:

On 05/02/11,  at approximately 4:00 a.m., officers received a 911 call from a nearby resident advising that a group of 4-5 suspects had smashed out the windows a bank located in the 4300 Brooklyn Ave NE. The suspects fled in a Red Dodge Neon.  Upon arrival, officers noticed approx 6-9 of the front windows smashed, along with the both entries on the West and South sides.  The South entry was completely smashed out and the interior doors were not locked.

Officers conducted a search of the bank with negative results.  It was then realized that the bank alarm never tripped. The alarm was checked and verified that it was not activated.  The interior of the bank showed no signs that entry was ever made.  During our investigation, a note was discovered on the sidewalk approx 30’ north of the South entryway.

Inside job, anyone? At the very least, somebody should get fired for not setting the alarm. That’s inexcusable.

they aren’t attacking the usurious payday lenders on the Hill, who are far more harmful to the underclass.

That’s because they’re stupid.

what did it say?

Probably “shitbarf” or whatever stupid catchphrase/tag the rugged individualists find pleasing to their eyes.

So true about the payday crooks but Chase is a super-sleazy operation in and of itself. They wrongly evicted thousands of soldiers while they fought wars for the USA in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Screw Chase. BECU and Umpqua are much better options.

no doubt

“Chase is a super-sleazy operation in and of itself. They wrongly evicted thousands of soldiers while they fought wars for the USA in Iraq and Afghanistan.”

Soldiers would be foolish to bank with anyone but USAA, anyway. But why Chase specifically, and not all the other big banks? Chase is just as guilty as any other.
