In the annals of Capitol Hill street food, Saturday, June 4th, 9 PM Pike/Pine-standard time begins a new chapter. Saturday night, the Capitol Hill Night Market debuts in the old BMW dealership parking lot on Harvard between and Pike and Pine. Our brief on the new feature of the Pike/Pine food+drink scene is here. The market will fill the lot Saturday nights, from 9 at night to 3 in the morning.

Yes, there are other places to eat on Capitol Hill. And, yes, there are other places open late for the Saturday night crowd. But there is a happy freedom about street food and a relatively warm debut night with a sliver of moon should make it even happier.
