BEYOND BOUNDARIES
Three Transcendent Design Practices
“Beyond Boundaries” presents three intriguing young partnerships that defy established roles of designers. All three emerged from professional backgrounds in architecture to produce projects that transcend conventional concepts of art and architecture. Their practices share a common interest in client relationships, working methods, and project types that exceed the norms of the discipline of architecture. Many of the works shown will be installations, both temporary and permanent, that use architectural effect as the impetus for design. The presentations will be followed by a moderated discussion between the speakers.
