On Monday, we updated you on the court proceedings around accused First Hill murder Louis Chen as he faces a battery of examinations to determine his mental fitness for trial. Here are a few more updates from the prosecutor’s office regarding recent Capitol Hill cases. Spoiler alert: We don’t have information that charges have — yet — been filed in any of the cases.

  • Occupy ChaseWe already reported that the five people arrested for locking themselves together inside the Chase bank on Broadway had been freed the same night they were arrested. Last we heard from the City Attorney, no charges were being filed.
  •  Suspected Silver Cloud ID thieves — No charges have been filed, yet, in the late October arrest of two men inside Broadway’s Silver Cloud after an identity theft victim tracked them down at the hotel and called police. According to police, the two men were found with “several cell phones, lap top computers, a WiFi hot spot, router, and papers with credit card numbers.” Both men have been released from jail as authorities attempt to piece the case together.
  • E Republican domestic violence stabbing — The woman arrested in this stabbing of her boyfriend inside an E Republican condo early morning Saturday, October 22nd was freed. As of yet, no charges were brought in the case in which the man suffered “non life-threatening stab wound to his back, cut to his shoulder and wrist.”
