To be honest, we kind of missed this crappy weather. Proof, for sure, CHS has been in Seattle too damn long. Enjoy your weekend.

Saturday, November 12

Occupy Seattle Arts & Media Present “Voices of The Revolution” A DAY OF SOLIDARITY
Speakers, Poets, Singer/Song writers, Bands, and DJs Combine their music and voices to invoke UNITY – SATURDAY NOV 12TH WESTLAKE CENTER MAIN STAGE 1PM till 6PM
A free concert and rally in the park

The Occupy movement could be the most important political movement in a generation, or it could be a dud—it all depends on what happens next. In a discussion moderated by Seattle City Councilman Nick Licata, panelists Lynne Dodson, Secretary-Treasurer of the Washington State Labor Council; Josh Farris, Tabitha, and JM Wong from Occupy Seattle; Frank Greer of national political consultants GMMB; and Seattle entrepreneur/investor/author Nick Hanauer  address the nascent Occupy movement as it unfolds here and nationwide. Will it—can it?—effectively articulate public discontent about the direction of the country, the role of corporations and financial institutions, and the ability of government to respond? It’s a big topic, so after the discussion and audience Q&A, Town Hall’s Public Room will stay open late for continued conversation. Presented by Town Hall and The Stranger. Free, general admission, though seating is limited. Doors open at 6:30 pm.

I’ve seen flyers posted on utility poles on Cap Hill with the Russian doll covering most of the page. I think this is what they were advertising, sorry I didn’t get the time.
