When crowd sourcing an event like Santarchy, trying to cover the “destination” neighborhood is pretty much a lost cause. Apparently, not many Santas were still capable of operating a camera by the time they arrived on Capitol Hill Saturday night. Fortunately, neighborhood photographer Michael Holden captured a few images before suiting up to join the fun. Meanwhile, Seattle Gay Scene has a bunch o’ Gay Santarchy images as it declares, “Santarchy is the new Halloween.” We’re hoping more Santarchy pictures from the Capitol Hill end of things will roll in over the next few days as Mr. and Mrs. Claus sober up.

On Saturday night I’m pretty sure I heard a marching band or something on 15th Avenue, near the Canterbury. Did all these guys end up there?
Just happy drunks, nothing new on the Hill, or, was there a charity involved?

I roamed with them last year for a couple of hours, lots of fun. This year,did they go ice skating? That might have been a real scene …
