A mugger who struck a woman walking with her children Friday night near E Madison and 11th did not get very far.
According to police, three men came to the aid of the victim and immediately captured the thief as he tried to flee the area with her pocketbook in a mugging just after 11p Friday night. Police units arrived within a minute of the 911 call to find the suspect pinned to the ground and held down by the three.
The suspect was arrested and booked for investigation of robbery. No injuries were reported.

To the three men who came to this womans aid, thank you.
but this made me look for the Like button.
One for the good guys.
Great to hear someone stepped in to help! Wish it happened more often.
Thank you so much to the men who came to her aid.
So three one-percenters stopped a richy-rich woman from having all her bankster greed liberated and we’re supposed to be happy?
Oh fuck off. Just do everyone a favor and take the (tail)pipe.
Great parody of something a moronic teen anarchist twit would write!
You have no proof that any of the people involved were one percenters. You have no proof that the woman was rich. You did, however, provide proof that you are a complete idiot. Three cheers for the good guys!!
Ok, let’s read the actual article. If a woman was walking down Madison and 11th at 11pm at night, chances are she is NOT rich. She’s probably finishing a shift and has to catch the bus. I guarantee a Rich woman, would not be walking down the street at 11PM at night with her kids. So Barf, please go back underground to your toll hideout and barf away in private and let us Humans stay civil.
Would it matter if she was rich or not? What the hell has this city turned into when it’s even a debate about a victim’s income level when it comes to violent crime?
I was the one who called 911 on this. I had parked my car just as three friends of mine (two doormen and a patron of a nearby nightclub) had this guy pinned down in the parking lot of Copymat. He had hit/harassed someone moments earlier who mentioned it to the doormen at the club. They went out towards the parking lot looking for him and caught him right as he tried robbing a woman (I believe he assaulted her as well) who was walking with her three children (ages 6 to 8 I would guess). Good guys, all three of them. They would do the same for any of you too.
If you people would stop feeding the trolls, they will go away.
Barf, you’re not even worth arguing with.
People, please don’t feed the trolls.
Person: Can you show your friends this story and the comments? Tell them Ernest Tee Bass and many others here are saluting them. It was less than a week ago that I was complaining that Seattle’s citizens would cower and let the insane and criminals take over if they chose to do so.
Very good to know that some Seattle citizens will do the right thing when necessary.
Augusta , GA
Orville Smith, a store manager for Best Buy told police he observed a male customer, later identified as Tyrone Jackson of Augusta , on surveillance cameras putting a laptop computer under his jacket. When confronted the man became irate, knocked down an employee, drew a knife and ran for the door.
Outside on the sidewalk were four Marines collecting toys for the “Toys for Tots” program. Smith said the Marines stopped the man, but he stabbed one of the Marines, Cpl. Phillip Duggan, in the back. The injury did not appear to be severe.
After police and an ambulance arrived at the scene Cpl. Duggan was transported for treatment.
The subject was also transported to the hospital with two broken arms, a broken ankle, a broken leg, several missing teeth, possible broken ribs, multiple contusions, assorted lacerations, a broken nose and a broken jaw…injuries he sustained when he slipped and fell off of the curb after stabbing the Marine.
Some of it, but not much.

And changing is name to “Tyrone Jackson” seems an especially nasty little way of race-baiting, I’d say.
Thank you. Good to see people looking after each other.
Who’s awesome, you’re awesome.
