CHS Pics | Live from the 12th Ave Festival

Jseattle is hanging out at the third annual 12th Ave Festival at an official CHS table — look for us near 12th and Madison. We’ve got free CHS button and a live chalk CHS comment section going on the pavement. Stop by for a late lunch, early dinner and a sunburn. And stop by to say hi. In the meantime, we’ll add pics here and there through the day.

Meanwhile, earlier today at the Broadway Farmers Market, gubernatorial candidate Jay Inslee made an appearance to talk about his campaign and the importance of small farmers. We asked him why he chose to come to Capitol Hill to talk with small farmers. 

And the “I Stand with the Sister” march made its way through Capitol Hill:

But, I have to add that the potato guy (I forget his name) is one of the reasons why I love the Farmer’s Market. That guy is one of the friendly vendors I’ve encountered year after year.

It was so much more pleasant to meander through the booths on 12th than to be next to the cars and traffic on Broadway.
