Seattle City Light says equipment failure is to blame for a small power outage that has left around 300 customers without power on Broadway near Pine.
According to City Light, the outage occurred overnight and service should be restored by 2 PM.
The Broadway Building and its street level merchants are among those affected. @codebutler reports places like Yogurtland and Genki Sushi are closed due to the outage.
We’re checking to see if Seattle Central is also without power.
Meanwhile, we’ve also seen a handful of reports since Thursday night of patches of Comcast outages around the area. Some of the reports have continued into Friday as the company has said an equipment failure is responsible for at least one of the outage areas.

the Comcast issue is nothing new. Their broadband has been flaky for the past 4 weeks. Maybe today’s reboot will fix a lot of folks’ woes.
