How about something not involving courts or fires burning neighborhood diner projects! Eric provides an update on the woman struck by the falling canopy outside Summit’s Top Pot donuts during Saturday’s great hailstorm of 2013:

Hello, this is the boyfriend of the woman who got hit in the head by the canopy in front of Top Pot. Just wanted to let everyone know that she is luckily okay! No broken bones or anything, can’t believe it. Thank you to everyone who helped, we all thought it was much worse. She’s home now resting with plenty of medication.
