When they arrived just before 1 AM, police found the victim lying down and dazed in the street with dilated eyes. And he was also completely naked. The victim was taken to Harborview for further treatment. Police found a black Camaro spotted at the scene later that night in the 900 block of 34th Ave. Police approached the group and their parked vehicles and identified a man matching the description of the Broadway Ct. suspect.Screen Shot 2013-06-13 at 9.15.14 AMInside the vehicles, police found “several small white colored rocks wrapped together in a clear plastic baggy” believed to be drugs, the victim’s wallet and a pile of clothes believed to belong to the victim. • E Olive Way Starbucks vandalism: A tipster tells CHS that the broken window and damage at the E Olive Way Starbucks was the result of vandals sending a political message overnight. “Smashed windows, door glued shut and anarchist graffiti sprayed on the windows,” the tipster tells us about the incident.
  • UPDATE: SPD has posted details of a Thursday morning beating:

A 33-year-old man is behind bars in the King County Jail after police responded to a report of an assault this morning at Bellevue Avenue East and East Pine Street.

At 7:48 this morning, East Precinct officers responded to the above location for a report of a man on top of an unconscious man, hitting him repeatedly in the face.  According to witnesses, at one point the suspect stood up and began kicking the victim in the head.  Prior to the assault, the suspect had threatened to kill his ex-girlfriend and the victim.

Officers arrested the suspect and the victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center for treatment by Seattle Fire.  The victim had lost consciousness, and had facial swelling and bruising.    The 33-year-old suspect was later booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Assault and Harassment.  Detectives will handle the follow up investigation.

Just a quick correction. The apartment in the photo is Mission Inn, not Mercer Inn.

That sucks about the Starbucks vandalism. I catch my vanpool there and was wondering why the main door was closed. I hope they catch the losers responsible.

Was the political message “We are intolerant of businesses we don’t like.”? Lame!

Don’t like Starbucks? Walk the 60 feet to the next coffee place. I suggest Arabica Lounge. It’s awesome.
