911 | Pine/Melrose gunfire, Harborview gunshot victim, search for missing man includes Arboretum

  • Pine/Melrose gunfire: Police were called to a person reported shooting from a vehicle near Pine and Melrose just after last call Saturday morning. According to SPD, witnesses reported a male firing what appeared to be a 9mm gun from a silver or tan GMC Denali just after 2 AM. Arriving police found no victims and no reported damage. Witnesses could not say in which direction the vehicle left the area. There were no arrests.
  • Harborview gunshot victim: Early Monday brought another gunshot wound victim dropped off at Harborview with few details for police to work with. SPD says an 18-year-old was dropped off with a gunshot injury to his hand and a graze wound to his face around 2:15 AM Monday. Police were able to track down the vehicle in Harborview’s parking garage and contact the occupants who dropped off the victim who told officers the shooting had occurred in Skyway. Police were investigating.
  • First Hill building fire: There were no known injuries and Seattle Fire was investigating after a building fire in the 700 block of 7th Ave Sunday morning. SFD was called to the area just east of I-5 around 10:30 AM. There were no reported injuries.
  • Missing man: An area man remains missing after disappearing after he told family he was going for a run possibly in the Lake Washington Arboretum area around 9 PM Friday night. In an update posted Sunday, the man’s partner said they have filed a police report and searched area hospitals.
