14th Ave E will be closed for one block south of E Prospect St near Volunteer Park from 9am-3pm on both Friday and Saturday for paving. The work is weather dependent so could be reschedule. The park entrance by the water tower will be closed. Cars may enter from 15th Ave E and E Galer St. All other walking/bike paths remain open.

Thank goodness they’re repaving. Riding a bike down that stretch is like trying to ride down the street on a jackhammer.
Yeah, I’ve always been amused at how these multi million dollar homes are on this almost comically messed up street.
Perhaps they believe it discourages traffic and like it for that reason.
