Clear these encampments immediately.

It is crazy that Seattle has allowed this to continue for so long. Sweep all of the drug vagrants out of Capitol Hill and Seattle now! Bus tickets or jail should be the only options for these losers and criminals. Stop coddling them and inviting more homeless addicts to migrate here.

“bus tickets or jail” so just ship them to another community or spend even more tax money keeping them in prison? its cheaper to just house them

as long as force them into treatment and the housing has bars to keep them in treatment

An apartment is cheaper than a bus ticket?

Right. Laughable what people are still proselytizing. When you look at the dollar numbers, jaw dropping lying expensive.

Don’t be obtuse. A bus ticket doesn’t fix anything, they won’t magically not need services anymore just because they’re in another zip code.

I don’t want to make legit people have to live next to these crazies. If you view the homeless as monolithic you come up with dumb ideas like throw them all in the same house

The homeless should also be protected from criminals in their midst. Those criminals should be housed separately in a place with more security.

Unfortunately there seems to be other states or cities busing them IN to Seattle. Stopping that could help too. They know there are handouts here and no rules.

Seriously? Where’s the story on that?

You nailed it Hillary! Other cities are sending their unhoused here to Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, L.A. and you know why?! Because we are blue wall… blue bubbles are just that, bubbles and with enough tension, pop goes the neighborhood, and up goes the wall of disparity. Seattle is such a fool. I would not be surprised if elected officials were in on it. But hey, Seattle has gay bars and toco spots on every corner so it’s fine.

OK so I think this is probably true. But as Smooth says “Where’s the evidence.?” Anyone, please give us something to go on here.

Another criminal riding a hacked scooter around the neighborhood. Time to hold the scooter companies accountable, but just like with everything else the mayor and the council have their head up their rears. The election closes in a few days; hold them accountable !!

I moved to Capitol Hill (not “Cap Hill”) in 1976. It has had ups and serious downs in all that time but nothing like recently. It doesn’t have to be this way. Mandatory drug treatment, or jail, bus tickets out to family members willing to take them, sweep sweep sweep. So done. Hold your nose and vote Harrell cuz Katie gonna take us back to where we don’t wanna go.

Bad rationale to vote for incompetent dope Harrell. If someone has proven they suck at this job you fire them.
