Police are investigating an overnight gunpoint street robbery that targeted a victim walking with her service dog near 11th and Fir early Tuesday.
The Seattle Police Department reports the victim was walking with her dog just before 2 AM when the suspect rushed from behind and pulled the victim to the ground by the neck. “The suspect put a gun to her head and told her she could keep the dog but to empty her pockets,” SPD reports. “The victim complied with the demands and removed the contents from her pockets.”
Police say the victim was pushed down on top of her service dog during the melee. The suspect then slammed the victim’s head against the pavement and fled.
Seattle Fire treated the victim at the scene.
Police were searching for a suspect described as a white or light complexion male in his 20s, wearing a dark beanie, dark blue jacket, jeans, and green gloves at the time of the robbery, according to East Precinct radio updates.
There were no reported arrests.

The amount of shootings and crime that has happened on that block is not surprising
Because the city doesn’t do anything
How so? They catch them.
