CHS is only partly impressed. Turn the cameras on here, and you’d get a similar show — though we’re not certain we want you watching every kestroke keystoke keystroke. But there is something interesting going on at Hugo House this week:
In a stunning, never-before-attempted marathon of literary wonder, 36 Northwest authors write a complete novel in just six days under the watchful eyes of Fairy God-author Nancy Pearl. Come watch and cheer on your favorite authors as the likes of Garth Stein, Susan Wiggs, Jamie Ford, Kevin O’Brien, Jennie Shortridge, Erik Larson (and more) take their turns at the keyboard in Hugo House’s Cabaret. Happy hour and drink specials Monday-Thursday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and 8:00-10:00 p.m. Go to www.thenovellive.org for a more information and to watch the novel progress as it streams live! Brought to you by Seattle7Writers.org, Hugo House, and Amazon.com.
Hugo House is located at 1634 11th Ave across from Cal Anderson Park.
Maybe we’ll join them for a news version later in the week.
