DUI, endangerment charges for man police say ran away from 12th Ave car flip

A man who police and witnesses say fled from the scene of Wednesday’s rollover crash near 12th and Denny with his 3-year-old and infant daughters in tow is facing a long list of charges in the incident.

According to the City Attorney’s office, 41-year-old Dante Piggee has been charged with DUI, hit and run, two counts of reckless endangerment and driving with a suspended license.

Piggee has a lengthy criminal history including a conviction for second degree murder in a 1988 shooting death. He’ll be in court later this month to face these latest charges and enter his plea.

Piggee’s children were not seriously injured in the incident.

Though this poor excuse for a human being spent nearly half his life (17 years) in prison, he has still managed to be arrested 85 times according to an article in the Seattle Times.
How any more times will he be “given a break?”

Hopefully, his upcoming trial will qualify for “three strikes and you’re out.” He does not deserve any more chances.

Can CHS find some traffic engineer to post on this? It’s beggaring my poor imagination.
