Even though we’ve lived in a single family home on Capitol Hill for the last two years, we’re still apartment dwellers at heart. So when it comes to lawn and garden care, we’re pretty lame. But there’s one bit of gardening we don’t mind — deadheading hydrangeas:
Removing old blooms on a plant is called “Deadheading.” Fortunately, we can remove the old blooms at any time of the year without harming the bloom for the following year.
It suits us perfectly. Easy to execute. Doesn’t matter if you are lame and forget to do until June. Works.
