Seattle Fire responded Monday morning to a 600 block E Olive St apartment building for a report of a woman with a self-inflicted knife wound to the chest.
Multiple units were dispatched just after 6a to the “assault with weapons 7” call Seattle Fire uses to indicate a life-threatening emergency that requires multiple personnel. The woman was found to have two small puncture wounds to the chest but also had ingested a large quantity of medication. We do not have information on the woman’s condition.
