SPD officers were searching for assailants who assaulted a man and left him lying unconscious in the crosswalk of E Pike at 11th Ave early Saturday evening.

The man in his early 20s was found unconscious after the assault and was being treated by medics at the scene. Thanks to the CHS tipster who texted us the photo of the intersection.
