Inspired by our news that the building is slated to be demolished later this summer, shutterbug Musely set out to compose some amazing images combining a historical photo with the present-day 10th and Union. The purple warehouse has lost some of its structural charm — but as these images reveal, it’s not that far removed. Meanwhile, another entry in the CHS Flickr pool shows a new piece of (temporary) art that has appeared on the building. Enjoy it before the walls come down.
I’m sure that it won’t take much time for taggers to do their damage on the mural.
Isn’t the mural itself a form of tagging?
Great pics, Musely! And after watching ‘Exit Through the Gift Shop’ I’m feeling the street art love.
