Over the weekend, Capitol Hill was homebase for a new music festival that is kinda hard to believe is a new music festival. Seems like ‘Mo-Wave should have already existed. We wrote about its genesis and planning for its 2013 debut here.
Organizer Jodi Ecklund from Chop Suey says you can expect a return of the celebration of queer music and art to Capitol Hill in 2014 and an ongoing presence in Seattle:
The festival was a success and it went great. We plan on doing ‘Mo-Wave presents show throughout the year. As a result of this first year its very clear to all the organizers that this is something that can be a very successful event on an annual basis.
