  • Find Nacho! The folks at 15th Ave E’s Liberty are looking for help finding a lost member of their family. Have you seen Nacho? Owner Andrew Friedman says the chihuahua went missing Sunday: “Lost somewhere between Broadway & Roy, near the gas station, and 15th Ave. E., near Mercer.”
  • Restaurant break-in: Police are investigating after a burglary overnight at Restaurant Marron. The Loveless building restaurant will be closed Wednesday for repairs.

  • Montlake crash: A head-on collision involving an Amazon Fresh delivery truck snarled early morning traffic Tuesday on 24th Ave E. We’re still tracking down information on injuries. Seattle Police is investigating the crash.

  • 24th Ave car prowls: A reader reports at least three cars had their windows smashed out Saturday night in car prowls on 24th Ave near Cherry. The East Precinct suffered around 10 reported car prowls per day in 2015.Screen Shot 2016-01-13 at 10.51.33 AM
  • E Madison grocery robber: Police arrested a man for investigation of robbery after he allegedly tried to steal multiple items from a market and threatened staff in the 1600 block of E Madison on January 7th:Screen Shot 2016-01-13 at 1.39.13 PM
  • Coffee shop assault: Police were looking for the suspect after a man who was rousted from sleeping in an E Pike cafe returned later that day on January 7th and went berserk:Screen Shot 2016-01-13 at 1.16.47 PMA search for the suspect was not successful.
  • 12th Ave assault: The victim in an attack in a parking lot in the 400 block of 12th Ave early in the morning on January 8th suffered “several deep cuts on the head and face,” according to police report on the incident:

  • 22nd Ave E burglary: One of eight renters in a 100-block 22nd Ave E house reported being the first to return after holiday trips to find the residence burglarized. The burglary was reported on December 31st. Police cataloged nearly $1,800 in losses but expected to tally more when other residents returned home.
  • Belmont balloon burglar: The suspect in an early morning January 7th package theft from a building in the 1600 block of Belmont wasn’t messing around — he also stole the building’s promotional balloons:

  • Rent check burglar: Police were investigating a burglary of 14 rent checks from a building in the 600 block of 12th Ave E. The incident was reported January 3rd and the building manager told police the theft was likely and inside job requiring the burglar to know the location of the dropbox.

Nacho is a chihuahua/jack russell terrier mix. He’s bigger than a traditional chihuahua and has a bobbed tail.
