A woman was shot in the back and was hospitalized and police were investigating if more than one person had been in a Friday night incident at the Pantages Apartments on E Denny Way.
Police reported blood was also found inside a vehicle at the scene as they worked to determine where the shooting took place.
Seattle Fire and Seattle Police were called to the building around 10:30 PM to a report someone had shot a woman from outside the building. Arriving officers determined the shot had mostly likely not been fired through a window into the unit and took two people into custody, according to East Precinct radio updates.
A third suspect believed to have been the shooter was reported to have jumped a fence and fled the building on foot after ditching a gun. SPD reported a firearm was recovered from outside the building.
Seattle Fire treated the woman at the scene and transported her to Harborview for further care. We do not have an update on her condition.

I live close to this building although I was elsewhere at the time. Any updates? Would especially like to know if someone living there (or nearby) was responsible.
I live in the Pantages Apts. The person who pulled the Triger does not live here. I slept right through it. No updates on the resident who was shot
Sad, woman shot and only one or two people care on this blog. I’d like more info as well, but seems no one cares…..
I can offer a few dets is blog lets me post….
She was in front of Pantages, some say a resident. Shooter jumped out of window and ran down alley…. Shooter had pals go back to parking lot by Pantages numerous times to find gun but seems cops already found it…
I am associated w/bldg next door where the aftermath occurred.
Thank you for that info. I’m told there were at least four shots fired in total. Surprised that none of the local crime-obsessed media found this incident worthy of coverage (a similar nonfatal shooting of one person at Southcenter Mall led the local nightly TV news when it happened and has since had numerous follow-up stories).
