Seattle Police say three people were shot including one man reported in critical condition Tuesday afternoon in the Central District after multiple shooters reportedly opened fired on a funeral gathering.
SPD reports the shooting took place just after 4:30 PM near 26th and Norman east of Judkins Park.
Police say a 26-year-old was in critical condition after being shot in the head.
Another man and a woman also suffered gunshot wounds but were reported in stable condition at Harborview.
According to East Precinct radio updates and SPD’s brief on the incident, police were looking for a group of four male suspects who opened fire and fled the area in a stolen vehicle that was later ditched nearby.
There were no immediate arrests.
Police say they gathered multiple shell casings along S Norman at the scene. The ditched suspect vehicle also had bullet damage, according to an East Precinct radio update.
It was the second shooting with multiple victims in the East Precinct this week. At least four people were injured in gunfire early Monday in a drive-by shooting targeting another vehicle at Broadway and Pike.

I was driving with the window down about a block away from this shooting. It sounded like a machine gun was going off. scary stuff.
