Seattle Police are looking for a trio of bandits who targeted a man for his $45,000 Rolex wristwatch as he pulled into the driveway of a Madison Park home in a Tuesday afternoon gunpoint robbery.
SPD reports the victim told officers the armed suspects were waiting in a vehicle as he arrived around 3:22 PM and rushed toward him, grabbing the expensive watch, and then fleeing the scene.
According to East Precinct radio updates, a male and female armed suspect wearing hoodies and ski masks perpetrated the crime while a third suspect waited in the getaway vehicle.

Police were searching for a blue GMC Terrain SUV reported speeding from the scene on the 2200 block of 38th Place E.
There were no reported injuries.
The robbery is the second high profile heist in the wealthy lakefront area in recent weeks. Last month, police were searching for a woman suspect who fled the scene — and ditched her wig — after ripping off $2,000 in cash from the neighborhood’s Homestreet Bank.
Sadly, they were going to fence it to buy a comb…

I really am concerned for the vacuum left behind. We have the current administration hyper adding to suck, and we have a neighborhood cheering the robbing someone owning a valuable item. Brezhnev wore a Rolex, a sign of wealth and elitism, even if a “gift.” Being robbed of an item is now ok? Let’s be brutish, if a gun is involved, life might be short.

It was $350.00’ish poor purchased, at Fred Meyer Jeweler, Ballard, and wouldn’t receive big market value if pawned. To me, worth +/- a moderately priced condo in south Snohomish County. It was a deep sting of momentous loss. I can put a 800k emotional value on an item so that I can leave, here, that is now a hairy and stinky armpit.

No one is “cheering” the theft of the Rolex. It’s a crime. But the victim was not harmed, and it’s not likely he will be in any financial trouble, so it’s OK to not have alot of empathy for him.
