It is already time for Hilloween. This weekend brings the return of a fun neighborhood costume tradition for Capitol Hill furry friends. Meanwhile, it is also the time for blessings for our four-legged neighbors.
To get the spooky celebrations started, The Volunteer Park Trust has announced that Sunday, October 5th will bring the return of the annual Halloween Pet Parade to Volunteer Park:
HALLOWEEN PET PARADE
This delightful FREE parade and costume competition will feature pets in costumes, food trucks, prizes, and vendor booths.

Meanwhile, pets can also get some spirit Sunday as nearby St. Joseph hosts its yearly Animal Blessing in front of the church at 12:30 PM in honor of St. Francis.
The St. Joe’s folks at 19th and Aloha also welcome you Sunday to a Pantry Party to celebrate the church’s “community fridge.”
