The suspect arrested in the September deadly shooting of Robert Fleeks at 10th and Pike has been charged with murder
The King County Prosecutor’s office has charged De’Andre Todd, 27, with murder in the second degree.
He has not yet entered a plea.
“In this case he shot the victim, who had just taken a bite of pizza, at close range multiple times in the head and neck,” prosecutors write. “The victim had not drawn a weapon and posed no threat to the defendant.”

Fleeks was remembered in The Medium
The decision to charge a case as murder in the second degree can come down to evidence and whether prosecutors can prove a murder was premeditated
CHS reported here on Todd’s arrest this week two months after the 10th Ave slaying of Fleeks in an investigation that hinged on video collected from nearby businesses, residents, and the city’s traffic camera system in evidence pieced together by SPD’s Real-Time Crime Center.
Fleeks was 26 and was remembered for “his infectious smile, boundless energy, and generous spirit” by his family.
According to police, Fleeks was the cousin of the boyfriend of a woman who recently sold the victim the Chevy Tahoe he was shot and killed in. Police traced another vehicle registered to the woman to her ex-boyfriend, Todd, according to court documents.
Prosecutors say Todd has no felony record in King County. He is being held in King County Jail on $2 million bail.
