Two killed in Nagle Place shooting identified, police still looking for ‘fourth man’ who reportedly fled scene — UPDATE: TT and Ray

Family and friends say the two men who were shot and killed Saturday night along the west side of Cal Anderson Park were brothers.

The King County Medical Examiner has identified the men as Raylando Wilford, 33, who died of multiple gunshot wounds, and Terrance Wilford, 29, who died from a gunshot wound to the chest, investigators say. Loved ones called them Ray and TT.

CHS reported here on the deadly Saturday night shooting that left victims strewn across Nagle Place next to the busy skateboard and basketball courts area of the park. A third man remains hospitalized after being taken to Harborview with critical injuries suffered in the shooting.

Seattle Police are still looking for a fourth man.

Witnesses told police the man fled the scene but SPD has not released additional details about his connection to the shootings and have not publicly identified him as a suspect. Police have also declined to provide additional details including if any guns were recovered at the scene.

They have asked anyone with information about the incident to call the SPD Violent Crimes Tip Line at (206) 233-5000.

The night of gun violence follows another deadly Capitol Hill shooting in April when police say a scooter rider opened fire on the vehicle Elijah Lewis was driving at Broadway and Pine in a road rage incident. Lewis’s young nephew was also injured in the shooting.

UPDATE: TT and Ray were Cal Anderson regulars and well known around the people who frequent the west edge of the park. A loved one tells CHS the brothers were part of the park’s weekend scene.

“They were really good guys from the community,” he said, saying the men were making a business of selling food on the weekends and helping out the homeless on Capitol Hill. They were never people that caused trouble or went looking for it, he said. Family has asked friends and the community to hold off on memorials until further notice.

In the meantime, spray painted tributes to the lost friends have appeared on the walls along Nagle.

Pictures provided to CHS of the two men — Ray is on the left. He died after being transported to Harborview. TT died on Nagle.
